Marc Brownstein writes that all this connectivity is killing us; that it’s draining our human batteries. The AdAge article talks about the fact that work is always on 24/7/365 and that there’s no longer downtime for dinner with the family, or vacation time with the family or friends. Today Hugh MacLeod of Gapingvoid fame deleted his Twitter account saying that it was making him lazy and that he would prefer to spend his time writing books and drawing his wonderful cartoons.
I say, “Bravo Hugh!”
Let’s turn off the devices and get back to being human again …
